Surrounded by greenery, next to the sports centre, including swimming pool, tennis, croquet, the Cascina del Lupo opened the fall season, with the first exhibition of one Artist form Busto Arsizio, Giovanna Magugliani, recently returned “home” after years of work abroad.

She travelled in the East, being overwhelmed by such a different world, by the strength of unknown colours, smells and tastes, as new elements to escape the monotony and indifference of the Western world.

Heritage, traditions are so different, that, thanks to such sensitivity of the artist, merge through a paint that wraps everything in an amazing mysterious veil, which transmits strong emotions, so evident especially in the emblematic female beauty, where colours and lights combine to create a beautiful figure of a woman.

The colour caresses with sublime discretion this seductive image, until it becomes alive, vibrant, and unforgettable, while being sensitive to the strong contrast “portrait without veil”. Deliberately softened by suffused shadows, speaking of wind, sand, gold sun of East: combined forces in an “invisible” embrace, protecting this proud look, without any embarrassment for not wearing the veil, without coercion, free to be: deep eyes, direct, celebrating a strong femininity, too often hidden, now freed by the mastery of this painting, colors and shades that blend, with great sensitivity, these extraordinary contrasts, which affect the viewer, with a clear awareness to share the same world, not to read in those eyes the difference of two deeply different cultures, because in those mysterious shades you feel the power, the strength of existing.

Sensitive portraitist, she describes herself in faces and images dreamed and transformed beyond time and space, a very interesting artist to see and know, for the pictorial introspection and the delicate and deep analysis of the person, seen over the face, the eyes.
